One Stone.  Clear Quartz is known to magiify the propertites of other stones.  It is also good for holding a charge from your intentions. 
To clean the energy of your stones, soak them in a water/ vinegar/ lemon mix. Set them in the sun to dry.  
To charge your stone: Get your intention and feeling state set. Hold your stone give the stone the energy that you want to hold and project.
